As it turns out, the name Mark Todd seems to be quite a common name. So common in fact that I publish work under the name M.C. Todd to avoid confusion with the multiple other Mark Todd’s who have written books, produced artwork or generally been more famous than I. 

After spending many years as a graphic artist and art director for ad agencies such as Marcus Advertising (now MarcusThomas) in Cleveland, Ohio and J Walter Thompson Technology in San Jose, CA, I now spend my time illustrating, pursuing design projects, writing, reading, cycling and swimming.

M.C. Todd (or Mark as I’m know to my friends) is an illustrator and graphic artist living in Norfolk, Virginia.
